Rothwell Figg is a client-focused law firm specializing in intellectual property, litigation, and technology.
GPI provided engineering design for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and construction administration for the partial renovation of the office’s eighth floor and a full renovation of the ninth floor from its white-box condition.
The eighth floor now features a coffee/pantry area, accounting suite, mail/copy room, private offices, and dedicated support spaces. The ninth floor now hosts a reception area, pantry, catering space, conference rooms, private offices, a case room, and specialized IT and Local Area Network (LAN) rooms.
To ensure optimal performance, the base building’s variable air volume (VAV) mechanical system was enhanced with fan-powered VAV boxes. To support the ninth-floor LAN room, a water-cooled, floor-mounted air conditioning unit was installed and integrated into the existing condenser water loop for efficient cooling.
Spanning 31,000 sqft, the combination of precision engineering and innovative solutions helped GPI create a modern, high-functioning workspace tailored to Rothwell Figg’s evolving needs.
