The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the mouth of the Miami River and connects to the Intracoastal waterway in the vibrant heart of Downtown Miami. This bascule bridge features three lanes in each direction, accompanied by pedestrian walkways on both sides.
The project involved the removal and replacement of coatings on the double leaf bascule bridge, encompassing structural steel components of the leaves, machinery, traffic barriers, and pedestrian handrails. GPI played a crucial role in providing coatings consulting and overseeing the inspection of coatings operations throughout the entire project duration.
