GPI provided engineering consulting services to design the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the interior build-out and base building upgrades for Boeing’s new 55,000 sqft office over five floors.
The scope of the project included design of a new chilled water system and a dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS). It also included design for installation of a 1250 KW generator via 1200 Amp distribution service for the entire space, a centralized UPS system, and a Very Early Smoke Detection App (VESDA) fire detection system in the basement. The project included the relocation of two Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units to a new mechanical room, revisions to the training room, and updates to plumbing and electrical systems in the third-floor unisex restroom.
