Q & A
Who or what inspires you?
I’m inspired by people who have passion for what they do. To hear someone talk about something with passion is energizing. Several years ago, we submitted a project for an engineering award. I sat down with one of our project managers to get the details and he talked about it with such passion, by the end of our meeting I was convinced we were going to win every award ever created. He talked about it so passionately, about how it helped the community and the environment that it was truly inspiring.
Why did you choose this career?
I’m truly passionate about connecting people with the information and resources they need to thrive and succeed, whether helping employees understand a new benefit or helping a client understand how our company can support their goals.
What’s the best piece of advice you’re received?
One of my earliest mentors at GPI, Paul Forte, told me “You can’t be all things to all people. Focus on what you do best and the people that it matters to.”
